Sahaj Samadhi (English)
Sahaj Samadhi
How to Meditate?
Just close your eyes,
And sit everyday.
First tune your senses,
To the outside world,
On your window sill,
A bird twitters
The wind knocks,
A tree, swinging
A koel calling
The drip of a tap,
Or the rain falling
The fragrance of the earth,
Soothing … Cooling.
Joyous children … laughing, playing
Experience every little sound
Like music in the background.
Let it crest for a moment,
And then recede,
And slowly float,
In the stillness of space.
Or Merge into the sky
Become the Reverberation
Of the cosmic sound
Become the Vibration,
Of Infinity,
Cross the warp of centuries.
And become a note
In the sound of Om.
Or Rise,
From the lotus of the heart,
To the thousand petalled Lotus.
The crown Chakra
On a beam of light,
Or, the river of Prana.
Or, may be,
Just a Breath,
Rising from the Crown Chakra
To Dwadashant,
The Astral gate,
Like the boil of a stormy wave,
And After …
A deep Stillness.
Like countless Manvantaras
All dissolved in a moment.
The moment of Kalpa,
Complete dissolution …
Now, Nothing …
Not Earth or Sky,
Not Stars or Sun,
Not Morning, not Evening,
No ticking
Of Time,
No mapping
Of boundaries,
No Sound …
Not even Om.
Then What?
Beyond the warp of Time
Of Maya and dimensions.
What is? Who has ever known?
What is? God or Parabrahma.
Was there a Thought
That conceived Creation,
The ‘IT’ … is beyond comprehension,
Was there a Breath?
That blew the Universe
Into Existence?
This is beyond the breath
Beyond Definition,
And this is where the soul
Went, to renew itself.
Don’t ask where
Now only the Bliss,
Of crossing countless cycles,
Of Rebirth
Rising out of the Veils of Brine
In the Oceans of Time.
So just Meditate.
To dip into Infinity,
All it takes,
Is Meditate,
Everyday.
